Contemporary art and design space, SODA presents “Naturesque”, the first exhibition of internationally renowned contemporary jewellery artist Tanel Veenre in Istanbul, which will be held until February 22, 2014.
Tanel Veenre's solo exhibition “Naturesque” gets its inspiration from “Nature” itself. Combining organic stones and materials with precious stones as in the brooches; sea shell with rock crystal on top, seahorse with jet and amethyst, he creates a surreal world.
Tanel Veenre lives and works in Tallinn, Estonia. TV has educated as jewellery artist (MA) in Estonian Academy of Arts (1995-2005, by prof Kadri Mälk) and Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam (1997-98, by prof Ruudt Peters). He has shown his work since 1996, which includes jewellery, photography and fashion. Tanel Veenre is working as a jewellery artist, design editor for daily Eesti Päevaleht, free-lance fashion photographer and since 2004 he has been a teacher at the Estonian Academy of Arts.
