CUT ART gallery announces its participation at Art Central Hong Kong (March 25th – 30th, 2025) where the gallery will present the works of renowned Latvian artist Andris Eglītis. As part of the DUO PROJECTS sector, the gallery will showcase a unique artistic dialogue between Andris Eglītis and French artist Dmitri Kosire.

Andris Eglītis is one of Latvia’s most significant artists, working at the intersection of painting, sculpture, and architectural installations. His works combine traditional materials such as wood, clay, and sand, creating multilayered images that explore the relationship between nature and humanity. Eglītis is a laureate of the prestigious Purvītis Prize (2013) and represented Latvia at the 56th Venice Biennale.

At the CUT ART booth (#22), the concept will focus on the exploration of materiality and the environment. Eglītis’s works address themes of sustainability, the balance between nature and modernity, and the importance of cultural preservation. Meanwhile, Dmitri Kosire’s creations merge painting and sculpture, producing emotionally resonant pieces with rich textures and abstract forms.

CUT ART’s participation at Art Central Hong Kong highlights its dedication to developing international collaboration and promoting Latvian art on the global stage. The gallery actively collaborates with distinguished artists such as David Lynch and Robert Whitman while also supporting young and emerging talents, including Vlad Ogay, Anna Bukhareva, and Edgars Nikolajevs.
